Bosede Olukemi Lawal Set To Deliver Inaugural Lecture On Food Security
Academics, students, farmers and stakeholders in the field of agricultural research will on Tuesday August, 12, 2025 converge on Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile -Ife, Osun State, to witness the Inaugural lecture by Professor Bosede Olukemi Lawal.
The inaugural lecture, according to the Head of Public Relations Unit of the Institute of Agricultural Research and Training IAR&T Ibadan, Oyo State, Dr. Adeniyi Amusat, is the 403rd edition and will hold at the Oduduwa Hall of OAU.
The event will be chaired by the Vice Chancellor of OAU, Professor Simeon Bamire, while family members and friends of the lecturer are also expected to be part of the occasion. The new Executive Director of the Institute, Professor Akin Oluwatosin will also grace the occasion.
Bosede Olukemi Lawal is a Professor of Agricultural Extension and Rural Sociology.
