Bank of Agriculture Welcomes Muhammad Babangida As New Chairman

The Bank of Agriculture (BOA) has extended its heartfelt congratulations to Mr. Muhammad Babangida on his appointment as the new Chairman of the institution by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.

In an official statement issued by the bank, BOA described the appointment as a new chapter of growth and transformation for Nigeria’s agricultural sector, expressing confidence in Babangida’s leadership and vision.

Mr. Babangida, son of former military president General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida (rtd), brings with him a wealth of experience in business and finance, which stakeholders believe will boost the bank’s role in driving food security and economic empowerment across Nigeria.

His appointment marks part of a broader effort by the Tinubu administration to reposition key institutions for enhanced performance and national development.
