Anambra 2021: Fresh Crises Brew In Anambra PDP Over Obi, Bianca’s New Alliance

Major gladiators in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Anambra State have reacted negatively to former governor Peter Obi’s alleged romance with a new entrant into the party’s guber race, Dr. Godwin Maduka.

Maduka was said to have lobbied the former Anambra State governor with a huge sum of money in exchange for the party’s ticket, and it was gathered that numerous and conscious faithfuls of the PDP are now questioning Obi’s reliability and his inconsistency.

Another round of controversy reportedly broke out on Tuesday as the former Anambra Governor was alleged to be drafting the wife of the late former Igbo warlord, Ambassador Bianca Ojukwu into the governorship race with a promise that she would fly the PDP governorship ticket in 2021.

Our source, who is close to the Senator representing Anambra Central in the Senate, Iyom (Mrs) Uche Ekwunife revealed that she is unhappy with this development and that she has vowed to ensure that she emerges the candidate of the PDP in the 2021 guber election.
