Alao celebrates Olubadan at 80 

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, Engineer Oyedele Hakeem Alao, has congratulated the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba (Dr.) Mohood Olalekan Balogun, on his 80th birthday.

Alao, in a statement he personally signed and made available by his Media Office, said that the birthday celebration of the first class monarch provided an opportunity to celebrate a quintessential father, a noble statesman and a role model who loves Ibadanland with passion.

The Asiwaju of Irokoland, while congratulating Oba Balogun for reaching the milestone, prayed for many more years in good health for him, while saying that Ibadanland will witness more development under his reign.

According to him, “I want to congratulate the Olubadan of Ibadanland, His Imperial Majesty, Oba (Dr.) Mohood Olalekan Balogun, on the celebration of his 80th birthday.

“The birthday of our referred father is worthy of celebration as he is a custodian of the very rich Ibadan traditional heritage, whose reign

has been peaceful and prosperous for all in Ibadanland.

“As you mark another milestone birthday in your life, I pray to God to grant your dreams and wishes for Ibadanland. Kabiyesi, long may you live in peace and good health.”
