Akeredolu sacks political appointees

Ondo State Governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, on Wednesday sacked all political appointees.
Those affected were Personal Assistants, Special Assistants and Senior Special Assistants.
A statement by the Chief Press Secretary to Governor Akeredolu, Richard Olabode Olatinde, said the Governor immediately announced appointment of 40 aides including SAs and SSAs.
The statement said the Governor approved appointment of Bola Alabi as the new Chief of Protocol while Mrs. Olufunke Bisi Aruna was appointed as the Deputy Chief of Protocol.
It said Mr. Kunle Adebayo and two other committee members were asked to continue to superintend over the affairs of the OSRC Media Group as Chairman and members.
