Ace Broadcaster, Kola Olootu Bags UN Eminent Peace Ambassador Award

Popular radio presenter and ace broadcaster, Mogaji Kolawole Sikiru Adekola, popularly called Kola Olootu, has been decorated  with the award of the United Nations (UN) Eminent Peace Ambassador.

This was in recognition of his peace initiative in broadcasting and presentation, which he has been able to sustain since he has been a radio presenter.
Mogaji Kolawole Olootu was presented with the award by the International Association of World Peace Advocates (United Nations Peace Volunteers) at an event held, at the Jogor Centre, Ibadan, Oyo State.
Mogaji Kolawole Olootu, in his remarks at the event, said “As a man with a grateful heart, I am humbled by the special recognition accorded me by the International Association of World Peace Advocates, which is under the umbrella of the global organisation, United Nations.
“I can assure you all that I will not rest on my oars in promoting and supporting peace initiative and movement, not only in Nigeria, or Africa but in the international community as a whole.”
Olootu continued, “While expressing my deep appreciation to you all, I want to challenge everyone to contribute his or her quota to the peace and socio-economic growth in our individual community.
 “This is a landmark achievement for me and my entire fans throughout the world. All glory return to Almighty Allah, and special thanks to the organisation, which presented the award to me.
“I hereby dedicate this award to my family and my entire fans worldwide.”
