Security Forces Neutralise 15 Suspected Bandits in Kogi–Kwara Border Operation

At least 15 suspected bandits and kidnappers were neutralised on Monday night in a coordinated security operation along the Kogi–Kwara border.
The offensive, carried out by combined government security forces, followed a deadly attack in Oke Ode, Kwara State, on Sunday. According to security sources, troops engaged the criminals in a fierce gun battle and subsequently intensified pressure on their hideouts to forestall further assaults in the region.
Authorities confirmed that the operation is part of wider, ongoing efforts to dismantle armed criminal networks threatening communities in the North-Central axis. They assured residents that more targeted missions would be sustained to enhance safety and restore public confidence.
