El-Rufai And Atiku: Recycled Failures Can Never Be The Hope Of Nigeria

Published

on

The attention of CSO’s Strategist, a coalition of pro-people civil society groups, has been drawn to the reckless and baseless utterances of former Kaduna State governor, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, and his newfound ally in political desperation, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar. Their recent tirades against President Bola Ahmed Tinubu are not only laughable but also expose the height of hypocrisy, self-delusion, and desperation of men who have failed Nigerians time and time again.
TINUBU’S GOVERNMENT: BOLD, PRO-PEOPLE, AND RESULTS  ORIENTED
In just two years, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has delivered what many of his predecessors could not muster the courage to attempt:
– Subsidy removal that plugged the drainpipe of corruption and redirected resources to people-focused development.
– Road and infrastructure revolution connecting communities, easing commerce, and igniting local economies.
– Primary healthcare revival to make medical services accessible to ordinary Nigerians.
– Educational turnaround that is lifting millions of Nigerian youths.
– Agricultural redesign empowering farmers and tackling food insecurity.
– Security architecture renewal that is breaking the backbone of terrorism and banditry.
– Tax and economic reforms that are widening revenue and stabilizing Nigeria’s economy.
These are not empty speeches. They are tangible, measurable, and undeniable. Nigerians can see and feel the difference.
EL-RUFAI: THE LAST PERSON TO PREACH DEMOCRACY
For El-Rufai, to accuse anyone of dictatorial tendencies is like the pot calling the kettle black. His eight-year misrule in Kaduna was a classic study in authoritarianism, nepotism, and reckless governance:
* He plunged Kaduna into debt while enriching cronies.
* He fueled ethnic and religious divisions, turning the state into a cauldron of tension.
* He bulldozed dissent and ruled with arrogance, leaving a legacy of bitterness and mistrust.
This is the man now posturing as a defender of democracy. Nigerians know better.
ATIKU: A PERENNIAL CANDIDATE WITHOUT CREDIBILITY
As for Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, he has contested for president more than any other Nigerian alive, yet has no track record of achievement to inspire hope. His desperate embrace of the hijacked ADC is nothing but a recycled ambition in another empty wrapper. He is not fighting for Nigerians, he is fighting for his political survival.
OUR DEMOCRACY IS SAFE WITH TINUBU
Unlike the doomsday predictions of failed politicians, President Bola Tinubu’s government has demonstrated inclusiveness, openness, and resilience. Nigerians are not blind, they can separate propaganda from reality. The so-called “coalition” of El-Rufai and Atiku is a gathering of yesterday’s men whose only common agenda is bitterness against progress.
OUR STAND
We, the CSO’s Strategist, boldly declare: Nigeria will never return to the era of recycled failures, bitter losers, and empty talkers. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu represents courage, vision, and people-centered governance.
El-Rufai and Atiku are political liabilities, not assets. They milked opportunities, betrayed trust, and now want to deceive Nigerians again. We will not allow it. Nigerians will not allow it. The people are wiser, and history will consign them to the dustbin of political irrelevance.
