FCMB Rewards 3,016 Customers In Millionaire Promo

First City Monument Bank (FCMB) has rewarded a total of 3,016 customers so far in Season 10 of its ongoing Millionaire Promo. Among them, 12 lucky winners have each received the star prize of N1 million, while 3,004 others have gone home with various cash rewards.

The winners were selected through electronic draws conducted between January and June, ensuring widespread participation across the country. The promo—open to both new and existing savings account holders—will run until September.

During the fifth draw held on June 17, four additional customers were added to the millionaire list:

  • Ranti Badmos from Lagos
  • Wilson Onoezikome in Kaduna
  • Esther Obafemi in Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State
  • Israel Oruma, a timber merchant in Asaba, Delta State

Alongside the millionaires, 112 others also won cash prizes in that round.

Reacting to his win, Israel Oruma expressed his excitement, noting that the prize came at a critical time for his business.

“This is a pleasant surprise. I have been facing financial challenges recently. The N1 million will go a long way in assisting me. I’m investing it in my business and will encourage all my staff, family, and friends to open an account with the Bank. Thank you, FCMB.”

Adetunji Lamidi, Divisional Head of Personal Banking at FCMB, said the promo reflects the bank’s commitment to improving financial wellbeing for Nigerians.

“At a time when many are facing economic pressure, savings-driven initiatives like this shift the focus from getting by to making progress. It gives people a reason to save, rewards loyalty, and shows that banking helps create real-life impact.”

Speaking on the integrity of the selection process, Oyinkan Kusamotu, Principal Legal Officer at the Lagos State Lottery and Gaming Authority, praised FCMB’s transparency:

“It’s great to witness FCMB’s commitment to compliance, fairness, and transparency throughout the draw process, which builds trust with customers and stakeholders.”

To participate in Season 10 of the promo, customers must:

  • Increase their savings account balance by at least N10,000
  • Maintain the balance for 30 days to qualify for monthly and seasonal draws
  • Save more to boost chances—each additional N10,000 saved earns an extra entry
  • Reactivate dormant or inactive accounts to join the promo

Draws are conducted nationwide, giving all eligible customers an equal opportunity to win.
