NNPP Chieftain, Ajadi Admonishes Political Leaders To Reflect Sacrifices, Righteousness Of Eid-el-Kabir, Felicitates Muslims
A Chieftain of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, (NNPP) in the South West, Ambassador Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo has celebrated with Muslim Ummah on the joyous occasion of Eid-el-Kabir, an event that denotes sacrifice, faith, and obedience to the will of the Almighty.
Ajadi congratulated the Muslim faithful and prayed that Allah accepts their supplications and acts of obedience.
He enjoined Muslims and Nigerian political leaders to reflect on the essence of the occasion, which he said bears strong meaning and significance for the nation.
He said that sacrifice and duty are essential ingredients of Eid-el- Kabir, while urging political leaders in the country to ensure that they fulfill what they promised the electorate during campaigns.
He also called on Nigerians to use the occasion of Eid-el -Kabir to spare a prayer for the nation for continuous peace and stability.
According to him, “I congratulate Muslim Ummah on the occasion of this year’s Eid – el – Kabir and I pray to Allah .to accept their supplications and acts of obedience.
“I call on political leaders to reflect on the essence of the occasion, which bears strong meaning and significance for the nation. They should reflect on sacrifices and righteousness by keeping to the promises made to the electorate during campaign exercise.
“I also call on the electorate to continue praying for peace in the country as political leaders cannot deliver dividends of democracy in a atmosphere of chaos and instability.
“Once again I call on Muslims to celebrate peacefully and moderately.”
