Access Bank Reaffirms Zero-Tolerance Stance Amid Investigation Into Alleged Employee Misconduct

Access Bank has reiterated its unwavering commitment to a zero-tolerance policy on harassment and privacy violations following reports circulating on social media involving a former Contact Centre Agent.

In an official statement, the bank disclosed that the matter has been referred to the appropriate authorities who are currently conducting an investigation, with the bank pledging its full cooperation.

“Our attention has been drawn to reports circulating on social media regarding an alleged offence involving a former Contact Centre Agent,” the statement read. “The matter has been handed over to the appropriate authorities, who are conducting an investigation. We are fully cooperating with them in this process.”

Reaffirming its commitment to protecting its workforce, Access Bank emphasized that it is actively engaging with the affected employees to provide all necessary support.

“At Access Bank, we uphold a zero-tolerance policy towards harassment and any form of privacy violation. The safety, dignity, and well-being of our employees and customers remain our highest priority,” the statement continued.

The bank also urged the public to rely solely on information released through its official channels, while expressing gratitude for the public’s support during this period.
