Nollywood Actress, Wumi Toriola, Speaks On Why I Want To Have More Children With Her Ex-Husband
Wumi Toriola, a Nigerian actress, has revealed her intention to have more children with her ex-husband.
Toriola got married in 2018 and welcomed her first child — named Zion — a year later.
In January 2023, the movie star confirmed her separation from her partner in a lengthy Instagram post.
In a recent interview with TVC, Toriola opened up about her personal life and decision to temporarily step away from relationships and marriage.
The actress said despite their separation, herself and her ex-husband have been able to maintain a healthy co-parenting relationship.
She expressed her desire to have more children with her former partner.
“For now, I don’t want to go into marriage. I don’t want to go into a relationship because I have plans to have more kids with my ex-husband,” she said.
“There’s a collaboration. Sometimes when we’re together I get messages like you may not be a good wife to me but you’re a good mother. I still hold that dear. I have one child now but I want more. If marriage comes later, fine.
”I don’t know if he is married at the moment. But maybe he is seeing somebody else. We co-parent well so I just feel for now I want more kids.
“Then after that we can now have time to start noticing and trusting somebody else because age don dey go.”
