Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital Clears Air On Incident Allegedly Involving It’s Medical Doctor With EFCC

The Management of Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital (NAUTH), Nnewi, has reacted to some online media reports regarding the incident involving the operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and a said Medical Doctor working in NAUTH, Nnewi Anambra State.
The hospital stated categorically that the individual described as a “Medical Doctor working in NAUTH” in the reports is not a staff member of the hospital, saying that there is no such name in their staff nominal roll.
Mrs Onwuka MC, Head, Corporate Affairs NAUTH said in a statement that there is also no employment or professional affiliation between the said Medical Doctor and NAUTH.
“While we encourage members of the media to always verify their stories before reporting, it is important to reemphasize that NAUTH as an organization remains committed to ensuring the maintenance of high professional, moral and ethical standards among members of its staff at all times,” she said.
