Cult Killings: Aiyedatiwa Imposes Curfew In Owo Over

Lucky Aiyedatiwa, Governor of Ondo State, has ordered a dawn-to-dusk curfew in Owo town, headquarters of the Owo LGA of the state, after a cult clash that left four persons dead.
The police command in Ondo said four persons were reportedly killed during a clash by cult groups in the area.
In a statement on Monday, Ebenezer Adeniyan, Chief Press Secretary to Aiyedatiwa, said the curfew will continue until further notice.
The Governor directed residents to remain indoors during the curfew except for essential workers in hospitals, emergency services, and law enforcement.
He also directed security agencies to enforce the curfew and ensure the safety of lives and properties in the area.
