Portable Arrested By Police For Unpaid G-Wagon Instalment
The Lagos State Police Command apprehended the well-known musician, Habeeb Okikiola, commonly referred to as Portable on Tuesday due to his failure to settle the debt from his acquisition of a G-Wagon from a local car seller in the state.
Portable is alleged to be in possession of a vehicle valued at N27m, having paid only N13m and not yet settled the remaining balance of N14m.
The State Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin confirmed that Portable has been apprehended.
“Yes, Portable has been arrested. He bought G-Wagon for N27m, paid N13m and refused to pay the rest, claiming the vehicle was bad. We arrested him today,” he said.
