He said he will not fall apart with Obiano as others did with their predecessors, citing the case of Peter Obi and Obiano.

The governor-elect stated during the interview that before he emerged as the governor-elect of Anambra State after the conduct of the governorship election in the state, that Obiano had already prepared him as his successor, declaring, that Obiano told him that he settled for him as his successor based on his vision for the state and that Obiano looked around before chosen him as his successor.

Soludo, said Obiano wanted somebody who would be able to take the state to the next level after leaving office which is why he settled for him as his successor.
