A contestant in the Celebrity Come Build Reality TV Show Saeed Muhammed, popularly (CBC) known as Funky Mallam, plans to partner with banks, northern governors to build affordable houses for northerners with the vast knowledge he has acquired in the course of the reality event.

Mallam made this statement, while responding to critics that the team lead for week one, but dropped in week two due to low votes because northerners didn’t vote for him.

Speaking in Hausa language, his response was impressive especially with the rate at which northerners are now campaigning for him, even the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) National Vice President, South West, Femi Branch and the Igbo groups.

“It’s not because the northerners did not vote; I had lots of votes from the north, but because things keep changing and people don’t get to vote for you every week.

“But I’m very optimistic that this week there will be a difference because I’ve been seeing the signs.

“People like Alli Nuhu, and Uzee Usman of Uzi Concept have started flagging the campaign for me there in the north and so many other places. Even Laura Ikeji actually posted me, Kingsley Chinweike Okonkwo, better known as KCEE, Femi Branch and so many other people are rooting for me,” he said.

When asked what the benefit is for the northerners if they vote massively for him to win the show, he said: “There is a lot of benefit for my voting fans because I’ll be coming with a lot of project that will be going round to help people in need of shelter, because I’ll like to go into building and construction; starting from the small-scale people who will need little amounts to build their own houses.

“This is the plan I have and joining hands with my bank and the northern governors, I hope to achieve all this with God by my side.”

Funky Mallam is always a delight to watch on site whenever he’s working.

His ever-smiling face gladdens his team-mates and colleagues, making activities on site fun.

Since the northerners are always proud of their own, let’s see how far they get Saeed Muhammed to the final of the show.
