Leaving the UK ‘all makes sense’ now, I was ‘destined’ to help fight systemic racism in US – Meghan Markle

Meghan Markle has reportedly stated that her decision to leave the United Kingdom and move to the US ‘all makes sense to her now’, as she believes she was ‘destined’ to help fight systemic racism in the United States.
According to Markle, who shocked Buckingham palace when she and her husband, Prince Harry announced early this year they will be quitting duties as Royals and relocating to the US, her ‘gnawing urgency to uproot from England’ was fate so she could be at the ‘forefront’ of the black lives matter movement.
According to an insider who spoke to Daily Mail UK:
‘She feels that her gnawing urgency to uproot from England was fate so she could be at the forefront of the movement”
‘Meghan said her work as a leader is more important than ever right now and that she’s been speaking with Oprah and other community leaders on how she can be part of the solution.
‘Meghan feels like her mission goes far beyond acting. She said she wants to use her voice for change and hasn’t ruled out a career in politics.’
Meghan’s reported comments come as the US has been rocked by protests across the country in the wake of the deaths of black American George Floyd and other African-Americans at the hands of police resulting in Trump signing new police reform rules.
Meghan spoke out about Floyd’s death earlier this month, declaring ‘black lives matter’
She said: ‘George Floyd’s life mattered and Breonna Taylor’s life mattered and Philando Castile’s life mattered and Tamir Rice’s life mattered’.
