The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Nentawe Yilwatda, has congratulated Muslims across Nigeria on the successful completion of the Ramadan fast and the celebration of Eid-el-Fitr.

In a statement issued in Abuja, Yilwatda described Ramadan as a period of deep spiritual reflection, sacrifice and renewed devotion to Allah, noting that the discipline and compassion demonstrated during the holy month are essential to both personal growth and national development.

He extended felicitations to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Vice President Kashim Shettima, members of the Federal Executive Council, the National Assembly, the APC National Working Committee, and Muslim faithful across the country.

The APC chairman urged Nigerians to sustain the values of patience, unity and selflessness cultivated during Ramadan, stressing that such virtues remain critical as the country navigates its current challenges.

Yilwatda also commended President Tinubu’s leadership, saying the administration is taking decisive steps to reposition the country for economic stability and long-term growth. He called on citizens to continue to support government efforts aimed at strengthening national cohesion.

He further appealed to Nigerians to use the Eid celebration to pray for the country, its leaders and security agencies, expressing hope for peace, unity and renewed optimism nationwide.

Reaffirming the party’s commitment to good governance and inclusive development, Yilwatda said the APC would continue to back policies designed to improve the welfare of citizens and deepen democratic gains.

He concluded with prayers for the acceptance of the Ramadan fast and acts of worship, wishing Muslims peace, joy and blessings in their homes.
