Four Years On, JANDOR Honours The Enduring Legacy Of Late Princess Adeniran Ogunsanya

Dr. Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran JANDOR, Lagos State APC Governorship Aspirant for 2027, on Sunday honoured the fourth anniversary of the passing of his mentor, political matriarch, and elder stateswoman, the late Princess Adenrele Adeniran Ogunsanya, former Secretary to the Government of Lagos State and Founding Apex Leader of the Lagos4Lagos Movement.

Dr. Adediran honoured her outstanding legacy of public service, leadership, and commitment to Lagos State acknowledges her invaluable guidance, moral support, and strategic counsel throughout his political journey. She played a defining role in shaping his leadership ethos, instilling in him the values of integrity, discipline, compassion, and service to the people.

These were contained in a statement signed by his spokesperson, Mr Gbenga Ogunleye dated January 25, 2026.

“Widely regarded as a principled administrator, community leader, and advocate for social progress, Princess Ogunsanya devoted her life to inclusive governance, grassroots mobilisation, women’s advancement, and youth development across Lagos State.

“Her contributions to public service and community development left a lasting imprint on the state’s political and social landscape.

“As the Founding Apex Leader of the Lagos4Lagos Movement, she served as its moral compass and stabilising force, offering direction and encouragement at critical moments. Her unwavering belief in the movement’s ideals strengthened its resolve to promote participatory governance and ensure that Lagos truly works for all Lagosians.

“Reflecting on her life and legacy, JANDOR reaffirmes his commitment to uphold the principles she exemplified which includes selfless service, compassion for the vulnerable, and an unrelenting pursuit of a just, equitable, and more prosperous Lagos State.

“Mama Princess Ogunsanya’s life of service and mentorship remains a constant source of inspiration to me. Her counsel, sacrifices, and belief in my capacity to serve continue to guide my values and leadership. Her legacy endures in all of us who were privileged to be her mentees and protégés,” JANDOR said.
