Aerovessel Group Of Schools Holds Convocation and Awards Ceremony

Aerovessel Group of Schools has scheduled its annual Convocation and Awards Ceremony for Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at Novatel Hotel, New Road off Chevron, Lekki, Lagos.
According to the Chief Host of the event and the Director of Studies, Aerovessel Group of Schools, Hon. (Dr) Abolaji Kelani, the 2026 edition of the annual event will feature the graduation of students that have been properly trained and prepared for the aviation, tourism, hospitality, information technology industries in the country.
Dr Kelani said further that Aerovessel Group of Schools is renowned for its high standards and remains committed to producing graduates who will add value to the industries.
He added in a statement, which was released on Sunday, that the watchwords of the institution are standard and excellence.
“Over the years, we have produced graduates who are working assiduously for the growth and promotion of the industries. Our products are our testimonies.
“We want to use this opportunity to assure the public that we will not relent in our efforts, as the school is determined to keep raising the bar in the aviation and tourism sectors.
“We provide trainings in hospitality, artisans & business management, aviation & tourism management, cargo handling & logistics, and Information Technology, all designed to equip students for success in today’s global industries.
“With expert instructors and hands-on training, Aerovessel prepares students to become certified professionals and industry leaders,” he said.
The aviation and tourism expert revealed that the Chairman of the Day is the National President of the Federation of Tourism Associations of Nigeria, Alhaji Aliyu Badaki (PhD), while the Grand Patron is the National President of the Institute for Tourism Professionals of Nigeria, Chief Abiodun Odusanwo.
He added that the speakers at the ceremony include Professor H. A. Bakare of the Department of Hospitality Management, Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB); the National President of the Nigerian Association of Tour Operators (NATOP), Hajia Bolaji Mustapha; and the Vice President, Federation of Tourism Associations of Nigeria (FTAN), South-West Zone, Dr Gbenga Sunmonu.
While calling for support from the government and private individuals for the institution to continue to serve the country better, Dr Kelani said that the students have been trained to provide human resources for both the aviation and tourism industries, adding that the school will not relent in its efforts of being the best in the sector.
