IAR&T Staff School Holds Annual Christmas Carol & Father Christmas Show

Pupils of the Institute Of Agricultural Research And Training (IAR&T) Staff School will never forget in a hurry the recently held Annual Christmas Carol and Father Christmas show at the Professor E. A. Adebowale Hall, Moor Plantation, Ibadan.
The high octane event which was well attended by dignitaries from different fields paraded pupils of the school, showcasing their academic and natural trainings to excite the parents and guests who were present .
While speaking during the event, Prof. Subuola Fasoyiro, the Overseer, Bora Agro Nigeria Limited, IAR&T, OAU, Ibadan advised the students to face their studies so as to become good citizens of the country in future while also advising the parents to always be closer to their wards so that they can identify their God’s given talents.
Prof. Fasoyiro, while enumerating the achievements of the school, hinted that the students of the school began showcasing academic excellence since the inception of the school and that the school was basically established to nurture excellent future leaders, who will exhibit positive character through their contributions to the society, nation and the world at large, making it a better place.
“Our students from inception of the school have been demonstrating academic excellence and we have also been grooming students who are exhibiting good character,” she said.
While thanking the Director, the Institute Management, School Management Board through the growth of the school, most especially the recent renovation of the school premises and the approval for getting more good teachers, she urged the parents to promptly pay their wards’ fees.
The Head of School, Mrs. Oluremi Salawu, thanked the parents for their cooperation with the teachers and urged them to always listen to their children and attend to their needs promptly.
In his own remarks, Professor Omole Adeboye Joseph advised the pupils to be hardworking and be good ambassadors of their families .
Dr. Aluko, in his remarks, urged the students to work hard, most especially in mathematics so as to win the various categories of prizes in his foundation for the “Best Mathematics student”.
Other dignitaries at the event, included Mr. Idri Omotayo, Pastor Mrs. Ebun Oyedini, who commended the teachers for their support towards training the children both academically and the way of God. Mrs Toyin Olabisi Awe was also part of the dignitaries, who attended the Annual Christmas Carol and Father Christmas Show.
