Soludo Wins 21 LGAs As Collation Of Anambra Result Resumes

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has resumed the collation of results for the Anambra State governorship election at its collation centre in Awka, the state capital.
The exercise was earlier adjourned by the State Returning Officer, Prof. Edogah Omoregie, who is also the Vice Chancellor of the University of Benin.
Following the resumption, results from Anambra West and Ihiala Local Government Areas were presented by the respective presiding officers, with the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) candidate and incumbent governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, maintaining a commanding lead.
So far, Soludo has won in all 21 local government areas declared by INEC.
