Former Chief of Staff, Gen. Abdullahi Mohammed, Passes On

Retired General Abdullahi Mohammed, former Chief of Staff to the President, has died in the early hours of today.
A distinguished soldier and statesman, Gen. Mohammed served Nigeria with remarkable dedication in both military and public service. He was Chief of Staff to President Olusegun Obasanjo and also held key positions in the Nigerian Army and national security establishment during a long and illustrious career.
Details of funeral arrangements are expected to be announced by the family in due course. Tributes have begun to pour in from across the country, celebrating his life of discipline, integrity, and quiet service to the nation.
