Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State this week paid an official visit to Ekiti State at the invitation of Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji to commission a number of road projects executed by the Ekiti State Government.

Governor Sanwo-Olu was accompanied on the visit by the Lead Visioner of the Lagos4Lagos Movement and former governorship candidate, Dr. Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran, popularly known as Jandor.

Political observers have described Jandor’s presence on the trip as a positive development and a sign of renewed political alignment within the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos.

Over the years, Jandor has been a consistent advocate for the socio-political and infrastructural advancement of Lagos State.

Since rejoining the APC earlier in the year, he has demonstrated strong commitment to the party’s success and the administration’s development agenda.

His contributions were particularly evident during the July local government elections, where he reportedly mobilised massive grassroots support for APC candidates across the 20 local governments and 37 Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs) in the state.

The impressive showing of the party at the polls, sources noted, was partly attributed to the efforts of Jandor and his network of supporters.

Governor Sanwo-Olu is said to hold Jandor in high regard, recognising his talents, leadership capacity, and deep understanding of Lagos’s development blueprint.

According to insiders, the Lagos governor believes that with the right opportunities, individuals like Jandor can contribute significantly to sustaining and advancing the Lagos Master Plan; a development vision initiated by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu during his tenure as governor between 1999 and 2007.
