Suspected Killer Of Rivers DPO, Bako Angbashim, Arrested By Police

The Rivers State Police Command has arrested one of the suspected killers of a Divisional Police Officer (DPO) in the state, SP Bako Angbashim.

It was gathered that the suspect was arrested on Monday, September 29, 2023 by the Rivers Police, when they were informed that he was about to be lynched to death by an angry mob in Edoaha Community in Ahoada East.
Subsequently, a team of policemen swung into action to rescue the suspect who was about to be burnt with a tyre on his neck.
The suspect was rescued and taken to the station where he made a useful statement.
He was later transferred to SCID for discreet investigation with a view to apprehending the fleeing kingpin, his gang members, and to recover their operational weapons.
