Why Tinubu Must Be Next Nigerian President

On Saturday February 25, 2023 Nigerians will troop out enmasse to elect the nation’s 16th President.

Indeed Nigeria has had a chequered political history and the nation is on the march again for that altruistic leader that will return her lost glory and place the country on the path of progress.

While there is no denying the fact that Nigeria is a leading country in Africa, it is yet to attain that level that would bring relief to it’s teeming masses that appear to be suffering amidst plenty.

But there seems to be a ray of hope and the nation would soon claim its rightful place in the world, especially if the people follow the man that has the ability to deliver.

The man that is focused, experienced, and, who is ready for the job of fixing Nigeria and resetting the country for better output, human and materials development is no other than the Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Tinubu is not just a performer, he is a builder, a reformer, a man with the midas touch, who can turn raw materials to finished products.

As Governor of Lagos State from 1999 to 2007, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu produced a masterplan. That masterplan encompasses security, power generation, education, healthcare, environment, housing amongst several others.

Tinubu was able to build Lagos to an enviable height such that it is the 5th largest economy in Africa. Tinubu’s Lagos is the number one in Nigeria today.

The state is setting pace in virtually all areas of human endeavour and it is today a reference point all over Africa.

Talk of Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA), Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF), Lagos State Residents Registration Agency (LASRA), Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH) and a host of others, then you will know the kind of man Tinubu is made of.

His legacy in Lagos State that has been sustained by his successors such as former governors Babatunde Raji Fashola, Akinwunmi Ambode and the incumbent Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu is there for all to see.

Residents of Lagos State can sleep with their two eyes closed today because of the revolution of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the state.

He is made of the stuff of someone, who identifies leaders and go for them. He has built people, identified talents and made use of them to get things done.

That is not say he doesn’t know what to do, he does, but he still searches for professionals, people that will bring his dreams to pass regardless of their ethnic background.

Tinubu, as the Nigerian President, would use what we have to get what we want.

He believes that what the nation needs is right leadership, which he is ready to provide.

The multiple problems confronting the nation can be fixed by a man that has his eyes fixed on the goal and Tinubu does.

Having traversed the nation during his campaign periods, he knows where the shoes pinch the people and he is ready to fix it.

His message of “Renewed Hope” being championed with his Vice Presidential Candidate, Senator Kashim Shettima is one that will restore the lost glory of Nigeria.

Under the APC, Tinubu plans to fix security, healthcare, education, agriculture, infrastructure, policing, food production, employment, youth development and others.

To do these, he has his plans and he has the people he would work with. For him, it is a matter of determination, preparation and hitting the ground running.

Voting for Tinubu on Saturday February 25 is an opportunity to make things work better for the country.

While we cannot say the incumbent President Muhammadu Buhari has not tried his best, but it is obvious that more needed to be done and some of the policies of the Federal Government should be repackaged to cater for the peculiarities of the country and the only man to achieve that at the moment is Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
