the Anambra State country home of the late former Minister of Information, Prof. Dora Akunyili last week on the reasons her kinsmen rejected the proposed August 28 burial date. Sources told First Weekly Magazine that the burial date clashed with the celebration of Ofala Ceremony of the community. It will be recalled that Akunyili died of cancer at a specialist hospital in India recently. It was exclusively learnt that the immediate family members of the late woman are now planning to choose a new date for the woman’s burial so that elders of the community can participate actively in the burial ceremony of their illustrious daughter, whose death is still a shock to many people in the country.
