Wale Tinubu, Oando top Managers set to deliver papers at Africa Oil Week

Again, Nigerian oil and gas mogul, Oando Group Chief Executive, Jubril Adewale Tinubu, is set to put the country on a global stage when he steps on the podium to address the world at the forthcoming Africa Oil Week, in South Africa.

Over the last few years, it has been noticed that the energy sector has become fraught with divergent views regarding the use of fossil fuels which in some cases have inhibited the development of the oil and gas sector.

It is, therefore necessary to unite as an industry and open new ideas and new channels of communication to find workable solutions that will ensure Africa can develop its natural resources in a sustainable and modern manner, with Oil and Gas playing a central role in the regional energy mix.

Africa should play its part in this progressive solution, we can do so as a part of a global energy mix and we must do it for the prosperity of the continent. African oil and gas stakeholders have developed a platform for conversation that allows Africa to develop and guide its energy future, and determine how the continent’s rich resources can take advantage of the world’s energy requirements with reliable and experienced global partners.

Africa Oil Week, AOW, 2022 will commence next week in Cape Town, South Africa, where prominent personalities across the continent of Africa will converge to discuss oil and gas. Among those expected for the three days event, which will hold between 3 and 7 October, 2022, will be ex African Presidents, Ministers, Oil Companies CEOs, Petroleum Commissioners, top oil players, analysts and top decision makers in the oil and gas sector among others.

This year’s event, tagged ‘Sustainable growth in a low carbon world’ will see the top VIPs deliberately on the future of oil and gas in Africa.

Among top shots and brilliant speakers and that would speak include Oando Group Executive, Jubril Adewale Tinubu, the company Chief Operating Officer, Dr. Alex Irune Inojie, Oando General Manager ,Commercial Bambo Ibidapo-Obe and its Head, Corporate Communications and CSR Oando Energy Resources Plc, Alero Balogun.

While Tinubu would be among top panelists that will deliberate on Natural Gas and the African Continent: How can Africa Bridge the Regional and Global Energy Deficit Using Natural Gas Prospective as a Transition Fuel, Dr. Inojie will join other to discuss ‘African Resources for the African Continent – Driving Regional Energy Markets’, while Ibidapo-Obe will deliver a paper on ‘Farm Out Opportunities – Oando Energy Resources’.

Other speakers include Balogun, who will join the session to brainstorm on the topic ‘Attracting and Retaining Talent: What Steps Does the Energy Industry Need to Ensure it is Attracting New Talent Across the Board?
