Published

The immediate past boss of the National Health Insurance Scheme, Dr Femi Thomas is now in the centre of a money laundering scandal that is fast assuming the dimension of a foul odour in his attempt at getting justice at the law court over the way and manner he was kicked out of his plum job by Ex-President Goodluck Jonathan.

A money laundering case which is now hanging on his neck is coming in the heels of his attempt at reclaiming his job before a court, a job which he claimed was taken from him as a result of political victimisation. A source disclosed to us that this is just one of the allegations standing before his ambition, “he who must come to equity must come with a clean hand” the source said and further claimed that the management and staff of NHIS are also waiting for him if peradventure he wins his case against his removal “he dare not come back” an aggrieved staff told us.

Our investigation revealed further that Dr Femi Thomas’s name has also been mentioned in a land scam. A source told us exclusively that he is at the centre of a dirty transaction in the sale of a piece of land bought at an inflated rate of N1Billion beside the National headquarters of NHIS in Abuja. The man’s name is becoming synonymous with scandal, you will recall also that he is the character behind the dubious purchase of a house for Ex-governor Segun Oni who he served as commissioner for health during his tenure as governor.
The messy court papers to be published soon.
