Rival Cult Groups On Rampage In Ikere Ekiti, Five Confirmed Dead, See Gory Images
Rival cult groups took to the streets of Ikere Ekiti, Ekiti State on Sunday morning fighting for supremacy leaving five of them dead.
PMParrot’s attention was first drawn to the development after some of them took the war to the social media.
Many Nigerians have since been condemning the unnecessary blood shed in the rather sleepy town of Ikere Ekiti.
The development has been confirmed to be true by the Ekiti State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Sunday Abutu. He said three people have so far been arrested.
Meanwhile, there is still palpable tension in the town, the second largest, and the home town of the Speaker of the state’s House of Assembly, Rt Hon Funminiyi Afuye.
