Ribadu’s Daugther Apologises For Wedding Dress

Fatima, a daughter of the erstwhile chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Mallam Nuhu Ribadu has reacted to the controversial dress she wore on her wedding saying that she would never intentionally expose her body as had been widely reported.

Reacting to the mutterings about her wedding dress when she married Aliyu, a son of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar at the weekend in Abuja, she said that what many thought to be her skin was actually part of the dress saying that she chose the dress to match the colour of her skin.

Fatima, nevertheless, apologized to friends, family and well wishers who may have been offended by the suggestion that she exposed her body.

 “I cannot expose my skin. My wedding dress has the same colour with that of my skin, but I still apologize to my friends and family who don’t like what happened and I hope to learn from this.”
