Philanthropist and Corporate Bodies Deserved to Compliments State Government Efforts On Education – Alh. Abubakar Z. Muhd

The Executive Secretary, Kano state Scholarships Board, Alh. Abubakar Zakari Muhammad has urged wealthy individuals and Corporate bodies to compliments state government’s efforts towards the are the development of education through sponsoring students to continue pursuing knowledge in a various institution within and outside Nigeria.

The Executive Secretary made the disclosure while briefing newsmen in his office on Tuesday, shortly after screening exercise of best-qualified 10 Kano students conducted by ” Sir Ahmadu Bello Memorial Foundation at the Kano State Scholarship Board in Kano.

While expressing his delight over the gesture made by the foundation for awarding the scholarship to the students.

Saying that this is a very welcoming idea with profound pleasing impression for both the beneficiaries as well as Kano State government.

The Executive Secretary stressed that the strides made by the is undoubtedly deserved pat-in- the back for collaborating with Kano State Scholarship Board as a venue for conducting the screening exercise.

He said the commitment made by the foundation is a quite encouraging and favourable gesture in giving their quota for creating an avenue of building our youth future through acquiring qualitative education.

“Kano State government under the able leadership of Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje have already gone far in sponsoring Kano Students to further their education in various institutions, which more than 8-billion Naira was judiciously expended to cover their tuition, accommodation and other sundry expenses” he praised.

Abubakar Zakari Muhammad, who was an erstwhile one-term member represented Tarauni local government in Kano State house of assembly, enjoined corporate bodies as well as philanthropists to emulates the Sir Ahmadu Bello Memorial Foundation in sponsoring students to further their education, he said would undoubtedly compliments government efforts towards achieving its goals of providing qualitative education even for the less privileged in the society.
