Olopoeyan Plans To Announce Defection From PDP To NNPP On Monday
A former chieftain of the Oyo State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP, Alhaji Adebisi AbdulRasheed Olopoeyan has confirmed that he will be joining New Nigerian People’s Party ( NNPP ) officially on Monday.
Olopoeyan and his loyalists in a joyful mood danced to celebrate their exit from the Oyo state ruling party.
Great leader, as he is fondly called by his followers, ordered the lowering of the flag of the PDP in front of his house, which had been there for over 15 years around 4:15pm on Saturday and it was immediately replaced with NNPP Flag.
Olopoeyan said that he would make an official political statement on the defection on Monday morning.
