MEGA Extends Date For Submission Of 2020 Entries

The Music and Entertainment Gospel Awards (MEGA) has extended the date for submission of entries. A statement released by the awards’ organisers cited challenges in accessing the organisation’s website as reason.
“The new closing date,” as stated by the awards’ administrator, Iretunde Akintunde-Johnson, “is now Thursday, September 10, 2020.” The statement also enjoined participating artistes to submit their works published between January1, 2019 and April 30, 2020.
This unique edition of the annual awards ceremony will hold virtually, in line with COVID-19 protocols preventing in-person events. Consequently, artistes are to submit their works remotely via the awards website, www.megawards.org, with instructions to guide through successful submission. Equally, they can send “Request Entry Form” either to megawards2013@gmail.com, or via WhatsApp number, 08182223348. However, only works not heavier than 10mb each can be submitted through the WhatsApp.
Likewise, participants submitting through email are encouraged to send their works to the entry email only (megasubmit2016@gmail.com); and to also visit the
MEGA Facebook page (www.facebook.com/MEGAwards) for necessary information.
The MEGA Awards shall hold on Sunday, November 15, 2020.
