Keni Ogunlola, Kalisha Johnson, Fola Tia Toriola Set To Host ‘The Big Search’ Reality Show

The Big Search is a reality show, a search for TV presenter of African Descent in UK, which entries was said to close on March 1, 2014 has been extended to March 12, 2014.

The audition, which was said to hold in Birmingham and Manchester, has been cancelled and the London audition was also shifted to March 15, 2014 for all Africans based in the UK. The Big Search Reality Show judges will set 12 finalists in a house in Cheshunt.

Contestants will be tasked in different areas of TV presenting such as News reading, Reporting and Talk-show hosting among others. The judges include Pauline Long, Evelyn Obahor and Sinazo Yolwa and the hosts of the

reality show are Keni Ogunlola, Kalisha Johnson, Fola Tia Toriola.

12 selected contestants will be living under a roof, three judges while one winner would become the next big TV presenters. The winner will get his/her own show plus cash prize and weekend getaway in La Dolce Vita Guest House in South Africa.

KENI OGUNLOLA

Screenwriter, Keni Ogunlola studied film in a ‘Script to Screen’ course at the MET Film School in London and also holds a degree in Creative Art from the University of Lagos, where he studied Music, Visual Arts and Theatre Arts. He majored in Theatre Arts.

He was a contestant on the first season of ‘The Big Search.’

KALISHA JOHNSON: Born in Brooklyn, (New York) is a TV Presenter, Singer and Model. She began her presenting career on CMSTV hosting “Star Lounge” – a weekly online programme interviewing international entertainers. A meeting with prolific producer / presenter/ director / Screenwriter Evelyn Obahor led to the opportunity to co-anchor BEN TV’s Breakfast Show which she currently hosts.

As a professional singer, Kalisha has worked with Michael Buble, Jamie T, Rumer, Florence & The Machine, La Roux, Leona Lewis, Jahmene Douglas, Jessie J, Alexandra Burke and The London Community Gospel Choir as a session / backing vocalist. She has also written songs for various projects and artists in Europe, the Caribbean, North America & Latin America.

“The Big Search” is a new presenting role that Kalisha is looking forward to for the display of her energetic personality.

FOLA TIA TORIOLA

Tia is a young enthusiastic, individual who lives by the motto ‘LIFE IS WHAT I MAKE IT’. She is an aspiring TV presenter who currently works on the Ben Breakfast Show, she enjoys reading, partying and although it may not look like it eating. She thinks that’s actually her favourite thing. She enjoys fine dining and going to the theatre, she likes to consider herself a very arts kinda girl shall she say lady.

She enjoys shopping and all things to do with fashion, she likes to call herself a trendy individual, she thinks outside the box and experiments with my outfits, it’s her way of showcasing her personality through the medium of fashion. She is constantly up to date with all the latest trends and what’s hot on the high street from clothes to shoes. She’s a bubbly, down to earth lady; enjoy listening and talking to people as well as meeting people from all walks of life.
