Kano Assembly Receives Four Commissioner Nominees, State Auditor General For Screening

Kano State Governor Dr. Abdullahi Umar has sent three letters to the House of Assembly for nominating Mutari Ishaq Yakasai, Engr. Bashir Yahaya Karaye, Shehu Kura Na-Allah, and Muhammad Tahir Adam for the post of Commissioners.

Speaker, Kano State House of Assembly Hon. Kabiru Alhassan Rurum from Rano constituency present the letter during Monday’s plenary.

While the second letter sent by the Governor Ganduje also seeking the House approval on appointment of Amina Inuwa Sai’d as State Auditor-General, and third letter seeks for the House green light, for the establishment of College of Health, Science and Technology and repeal of Kano state Public Health edict of 1984.

During the plenary presided by the House Speaker, Kabiru Alhassan Rurum, call on the nominees to appear before the House next Wednesday for screening, while the other committee for Public Account is slated to supervise the screening of the Auditor-General for confirmation.

The House is schedule to receive and pass the final appropriation report on coming Monday and forward it to the Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje for immediate implementation in the coming year, 2019.
