COVID-19 Lockdown: Obasanjo sacks workers amid Coronavirus crisis

Several staff of the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library, Abeokuta, Ogun State, were on Saturday laid off following the economic hardship occasioned by COVID-19.

Its Head of Human Resources, Administration and Procurement, Olanike Ogunleye, in a statement blamed the development on the overwhelming adverse impacts of coronavirus on the organisation.

The organisation pointed that the COVID-19 outbreak has made its impossible to sustain its workforce.
