Chioma Madubuko, Society Matriarch, Corporate Amazon, Dies At 68
The Lagos social circuit has been thrown into a mourning mood, over the death of Chioma Madubuko, the famous society matriarch, lawyer and corporate Amazon.
She died on Monday, 1 June, 2020, at Reddington Hospital, Lagos, after a prolonged battle with multiple sclerosis. She was aged 68.
An accomplished lawyer with over 35 years’ post call to bar experience, spanning legal practice, banking, manufacturing and real estate, Madubuko was an alumnus of the University of Ife, Ile-Ife, now known as Obafemi University where she also obtained a Master’s Degree in Business Administration.
Prior to joining Dangote Group, Madubuko served as Secretary of NASCON Allied Industries Plc, Secretary of Lead Bank Plc, Member of International Federation of Women Lawyers, Member of Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria and Member of Institute of Management Consultants of Nigeria.
