Childbirth Spacing Services Goes On, In spite of Kano Lockdown.

With regards to the current lockdown in Kano towards taming the tide of global pandemic of Covid-19, the Childbirth spacing service providers in the state have overwhelmingly hail the zeal and commitment of clients craving for the services of family planning as they observe health care centers constantly in spite of the on going lock-down orders in Kano state.

Malam Adamu Diso who is in charge of Ja’en Primary Health care service childbirth spacing unit, Gwale local Government Area made this known on Thursday while hinting to the newsmen who visited the health facility through advocacy platform under the auspices of Devcoms, a non-governmental Organisation championing for family planning in the state

Ahmad Adamu Diso said even though the stay-at-home commands had deflated the figures of patrons who attend the centre for accessing the service, yet clients are nonetheless favoring the service,

Adamu added that mothers are unrelenting overwhelmingly visiting the facility from adjacent localities pursuing for family planning contraceptives and given the needed counselling to make their aspiration more effective and fruitful.

The out-of-stock commodities experiencing in the facility was largely attributed by health experts attributed due to spikes of clients figures people visiting the facility daily to get the commodities.

“Many people from Kumbotso, Madobi, and many local government areas came in their dozens to access the health facility services with regard to family planning issues” Adamu stressed.

The facility specialists strengthened that there is extensive publicity on childbirth spacing, which this led to the increment of the clients who came regularly seeking for services and experts advice.

The team of the journalists also examined facilities available In the centre, which comprises the comfortable offices and well equipped room for counselling.
