BREAKING: APC governors set to meet Buhari over 2023 election, fuel, new naira notes scarcity

Governors of the ruling All Progressives Congress will meet with President Muhammadu Buhari tomorrow (Friday) over the coming general elections WesternPost has gathered.

On the agenda of the governors are issues of the nationwide fuel scarcity and the new Naira notes that have caused social and economic stress for Nigerians especially small businesses who rely on daily cash transactions.

Some of the APC governors in the past few days have expressed dissatisfaction and personal frustration on how the Central Bank of Nigeria’s Policy on new Naira notes and scarcity of fuel have crippled economic activities in their states at a time the country is preparing for general elections.

Many Nigerians have expressed sadness about how the twin problems of fuel scarcity and new Naira notes have added to their miseries and analysts have said it will have impact on the elections.

Governor Nasir El-Rufai was on Channels Television on Wednesday to join the growing voices of frustrated Nigerians and APC supporters who feel that the current situation is a deliberate sabotage targeted at making the Presidential Candidate of the party Asiwaju Bola Tinubu to lose the election.

From inside  sources, the APC governors will bare their feelings to the President and how his appointees and close aides are working with the opposition to make his party lose the elections and demand quick action and sanctions against individuals culpable in foisting the current hardship on Nigerians.

The APC governors will also demand that the President direct the Central Bank Governor, Godwin Emefiele, to review the cashless and new Naira policies to make for adjustments that will
