Breaking: 2 Rapists Sentenced In Lagos

2 rapists have been sentenced to prison in Lagos on Thursday.

Reports on their conviction and sentence was tweeted by the Domestic&Sexual Violence Response Team (DSVRT) on their handle @DSVRT

One of the 2 rapists, Mr William Udoh was sentenced to 21 years imprisonment, while the other unnamed rapist was sentenced to 15 years in prison.

Today, 11th June 2020, in Charge No: ID/1645c/15 before SOLEBO.J, the defendant was convicted of Rape in State of Lagos vs Francis Apai. Sentenced to 15years imprisonment. #justiceforsurvivors

Still today, Hon. Justice Ipaye sentenced Mr. William Udoh to 21 years imprisonment for the offense of RAPE. Lagos means business in the fight against Sexual and Gender Based Violence. #justiceforsurvivors
