Adeleke Suspends Aide Over Alleged Diversion Of 70 Bags Of Sallah Rice In Osun

The Governor of Osun State, Ademola Adeleke on Wednesday suspended his Senior Special Assistant on Civil Societies, Emmanuel Adebisi over an allegation leveled against him.
In a statement by the Spokesperson to the Governor, Mallam Rasheed Olawale, the Governor directed his Chief of Staff, Kazeem Akindele to investigate the allegation levelled against him.
Though the state did not mention the offence committed by Emmanuel Adebisi, Emmanuel Adebisi in a statement described as baseless, the allegation levelled against him that he diverted seventy bags of rice meant for civil societies in the State for the Salah celebration.
He also described the news of his suspension as untrue claiming that he remains part of the current Government in his capacity as Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Civil Societies.
Emmanuel Adebisi also reaffirmed his commitment to transparency and accountability calling on the media to disregard the misinformation which is an attempt to damage his reputation as a public servant.
