Yinka Best Excites Manchester For Album Launch

Still basking in the euphoria of his recent successful launch and public presentation of his latest 3-cut album in Nigeria, ace Highlife Saxy Juju crooner, Yinka Best is set for a re-enactment of this much touted success story in the United Kingdom.

Billed for June 7, 2019, Best recently disclosed that all is set for a public launch/presentation of his new 3 albums in the United Kingdom; ultimately yielding to the yearnings of his fans with a kick-start edition in Manchester, United Kingdom.

Courtesy of a working relationship and partnership with renowned UK based promoter, the event is scheduled to hold at the prestigious Banquet Hall, Cheethamhill, Manchester, United Kingdom; while all efforts towards making the day another success story are in top gear especially in terms of protocols, logistics and activations.

According to Yinka Best, “this coming event is a follow-up to the successful launch we had in Nigeria. The 3-album release is a first of its kind in the history of juju music in Nigeria. It is a reflection and justification of my artistic creative growth and mastery”.

Continuing, Best added that “unlike the erroneous impression being held by some mischief makers, this new works exemplifies that Yinka Best is still very much on top of his game; especially as far as juju music is concerned both within and outside Nigeria”.

Renowned for his mastery and infusion of the Sax percussion into his brand of juju music, Best further disclosed that “besides the album launch, the event is also being used to celebrate my birthday which coincides with that period as well as leverage on that to appreciate my fans in Manchester”.

Titled ‘The Great Legends’, ‘Lift Me Up’ and ‘Dance of Joy’, the 3-album launch/public presentation is billed to attract legends of juju artistes. Top on the list of guest artistes for the night, according to Yinka Best is Afro Juju creator, Sir Shina Peters and Lalale Friday crooner, Wale Thompson who have both confirmed their attendance.

“Yes, SSP and Wale Thompson will be part of the event. Infact, both of them are already in the United Kingdom and will surely be there. And of course, I have been ably supported by Manchester based artistes who have all expressed and indicated their love and participation”, he said.

‘The current method of education is faulty’ – Singer, Simi

Nigerian singer, Simi has faulted the current educational system being practiced in the country which she believes has killed off lots of talents.

According to her, lots of talents are dying because the country has made many believe that one can only attain success if he or she follows a certain path.  

She tweeted:  I fee like the current method of education is faulty. Ppl have different strengths – but we were raised to believe only certain talents or career paths can bring you success. So we see a lot of potential and ideas dying cos they were born to the right ppl in the wrong climate.

While some quarters feel the teachers are to blame for the decaying educational sector, Simi feels the blame shouldn’t fall solely on them.  So the problem is not just the incompetent teachers.

 It’s sometimes the misplacement of priorities. The inadequacy of the educational system to cater to the diversity of the human kind.  

This is coming in the wake of JAMB approving 160 as cut-off mark for admission into tertiary institutions in Nigeria. The decision was made at a meeting held in Osun State, Southwest Nigeria

T.I comments on Rihanna’s choice of falling in love with an Arab and not a Black man

In a new interview which was released this week, singer Rihanna who is currently dating Arab Billionaire, Hassan Hassan Jameel opened up about her relationship.

The 31-year-old singer declared during the interaction with Interview Magazine that she is in love with her beau, who is deputy president and vice chairman of his family’s company, Abdul Latif Jameel Domestic.

When asked if she was in love, Rihanna replied “of course I am”, before leaving a long silence when asked if she was planning to get married.

“Only God knows that, girl. We plan and God laughs, right?” she eventually joked, adding that she wants to be a mother “more than anything in life”.

Since the interview was published, some of her fans have expressed their disappointment, while others questioned the singer’s decision in dating an Arab and not a black man.

While one fan tried to defend Rihanna by writing that the singer didn’t drag black men in the process, T.I who appeared to have a problem with the relationship replied her.

The rapper who collaborated with Rihanna in 2008 wrote: ‘how you know?’

IG live nude: Me and Etinosa planned she will come naked but not to the extent she went – MC Galaxy claims

On March 15th, Actress and popular Instagram comedian, Etinosa made news after she appeared completely naked on singer MC Galaxy’s lG live video. She received a lot of backlash from Nigerians and at a point, came out to apologise and state that she regrets her action.

In a fresh interview with HIP Tv, MC Galaxy says himself and the comedian planned that she would go naked on his IG live but he did not know she would go to the extent that she did.

He said

”I think I need to say the whole truth about this live video thing once and for all. The live video thing we planned it. Me and Etinosa actually planned that stuff but I wasn’t happy the way the whole thing turned pout to be on me alone. We planned it but we did not plan she would ”over naked” like that. She over did it when she came on live video”.
