PDP Supporters attacked Kano APC Chairman residence.

Reports from Kano have reliably confirmed attack on the residence of All Progressives Congress (APC) Chairman in the state, Alhaji Abdullahi Abbas.

Confirming the attack to newsmen, Sunday, Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Haruna Abdullahi Kiyawa, said the attackers were alleged to be members of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP.

He said the attackers pelted Abdullahi Abbas house with stones and vandalised some vehicles parked within the surroundings of Kano APC’s chairman residence.

He added that “The attackers were on their way to PDP rally but stopped and attacked people indiscriminately ”
Report indicates that many people were injured, and parked vehicles windscreen were smashed.

He said, sanity has already restored at the area.

Kiyawa said, “We have added re-enforcement to the vicinity We have stationed our personnel there and there is no cause for alarm.”

The Kano APC Chairman, Alhaji Abdullahi Abbas and Kwankwasiyya members were publicly known for trading strong criticism and sharp utterances against each other.
