ONNOGHEN’S SACK AS CJN: I AM VINDICATED – Joe Igbokwe

Few months back I wrote that something is going on in Onnogen’ Supreme Court in such a manner that we have had repeated cases of miscarriage of justice at the apex court. I made reference to the unethical romance between certain characters in River State and the Supreme Court of Nigeria.

Shortly after I posted it online hell was let loose. Lagos Lawyer Mr Ebun Adegboruwa raised an unprecedented alarm that I have desecrated the Judiciary and said he will take me to court after seven days if I fail to tender an unreserved apology. The disgraced former Judge spoke from London that I must prove what I put down beyond reasonable doubt or I will be prosecuted. Rivers State Attorney General threatened to drag me to Court also.I was driving and on my way to the East.

The calls from friends and well wishers became too much and I had to pack to speak to them. A prominent Lawyer and a Senior Advocate Of Nigeria called me to say that I should not worry myself as he has in his possession documents that suggest that certain characters in River State have been romancing with sacked CJN, ONNOGHEN . He even sent about 20 pages of the documents and pictures to me. On Social Media, enemies came in their thousands and descended on me without mercy. Even the officials of the LASG and people who are supposed to be my friends joined the mantra. One funny character and an unrepentant ethnic bigot called Ochereome Nnanna who writes for Vanguard Newspaper saw my trials as an opportunity to hit back at me after I had challenged him for calling Yoruba Nation bunch of morons.

He celebrated it but I endured it all knowing that my time will come. Then I remembered a quote from the Poet, Kipling who said: “If you can keep your head when others are losing theirs the world belongs to you and everything that is in it” Finally these forces compelled me to issue a retraction. And they mocked. Today history beckons and I am vindicated.

The judiciary in Nigeria stinks and the stench can be perceived and inhaled across the globe . I have been a victim in the hands of a Magistrate in Lagos. Let the music play on. We die here!!!
