It is another set of travails for the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturer (IVM), Chief Innocent Chukwuma, as a Lagos High Court, on Friday, ordered his arrest and detention.

The court sitting in the Ikeja and presided over by Justice Mojisola Dada, gave the order against, Chukwuma, who owns the first private vehicle manufacturing plant in Nigeria, for failing to appear before the court to face his trial.

According to her, the Nnewi-based tycoon, who has been having a running battle with one of his bankers, GTB, and whose arrest by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), late last year, raised a lot of dust, must be arrested and brought to court on the next adjourned date of March 14, 2018.
