COZA: Mentors Asked Me To Cancel Special Programme – Fatoyinbo

Alleged rapist and global senior pastor of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA), Biodun Fatoyinbo on Sunday announced that he was cancelling a special one week programme scheduled to commence on Monday.

He said the instruction supposedly came from God and his mentors, but he did not mention who his mentors are.

He spoke during the regular Sunday service of the church on Sunday during which he again debunked the allegation of rape levelled against him by ace photographer Busola Dakolo. It was the first time he would frontally address the issue of sexual impropriety before his congregation following serial allegations that had been made against him.

“I have been relating with all my mentors, you know I am a man under authority, I really love to listen to them. So, I am going to be giving a few instructions as time goes on but the first instruction I want to give is, be that as it may with what is going on, I am not a desperate person to say we must have the programme. I am a peaceful person, you know that.”

He thus charged his congregation to go about peacefully and that instead of the special programme slated to commence on Monday that a one month prayer programme during which members would come to pray would hold instead.

Before he spoke his wife, Mrs. Omodele Fatoyinbo had exonerated her husband saying that he was no rapist as had been serially alleged.

“My husband is not a rapist. Even if he was an unbeliever, he would not be a rapist,” she said.
